Dev has expanded his clinical arsenal by completing numerous post-graduate continuing education courses and seminars including specialized training in advanced manual therapy and exercise. He is fully credentialed in Active Release Techniques (ART®), educated in myofascial and muscle mobilization, and is certified in medical acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.
In addition to his training as a physiotherapist, Dev is further recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and holds over a decade of experience in health and fitness. His clients have included high performance, professional athletes, weekend warriors and everyone in between.
Dev’s unique background grants him the ability to unite distinct rehabilitation and performance objec
tives together. This allows integration of various treatment techniques to address issues such as pain, immobility, instability, weakness, de-conditioning, injuries (sports, trauma, low back pain, sprains/strains etc) and other forms of movement dysfunctions, while still improving general fitness and athletic performance.
Dev ensures that every client is educated on the components of complete health and wellness and its vital role in the return to optimal function and total performance. With their acquired insight, Dev’s clients are empowered to understand their situation, set realistic goals and then work towards realizing their true potential.
Dev is passionate about health and fitness and endeavors to share that passion with those around him. Dev’s clientele has included professional athletes from Olympic Gold Medalists, to athletes in the NHL, AHL, MLB, Ironman Triathlons, along with CEOs and executives with multi-national corporations. He has also worked with numerous high-level youth athletes (e.g. OFSAA champions) and emergency service personnel (e.g. police, fire) each having specialized performance and rehabilitation requirements. His vast clinical experience allows him to create optimal training and therapy programs for all of his clients.

Dr. Katherine Au received her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College after graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Kinesiology. She is also credentialed in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University, and is in the process of completing her Fellowship in Chiropractic Rehabilitation Sciences (FCCRS) in Toronto.
Katherine is a certified Active Release Techniques® Soft Tissue Treatment (ART®) provider in Spine, Upper Limb, Lower Limb, and Long Tract Nerve Entrapments, a state-of-the-art movement-based soft tissue technique that treats overuse conditions, restores function, and optimizes performance. Katherine is also a certified Level 2 provider of Graston Technique (GT®), and instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization enabling the effective breakdown of scar tissue, fascial restrictions and treatment of other acute and chronic injuries.
As a complement to her manual therapy skills, Katherine is an experienced Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-USA) and a Level 1 National Coaching Certificate holder. She has extensive experience working with a wide array of individuals from recreational to professional athletes and as an athlete and fitness competitor herself, with the Ontario Physique Association (OPA) and the International Drug Free Association (IDFA), Katherine understands the cyclical challenges and triumphs of training, competition, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
Katherine always takes an integrated functional approach when working with her clients. She incorporates advanced neuromuskuloskeletal assessments with traditional orthopaedic testing in order to diagnose and treat not only the area of complaint, but the root cause of the problem. She has treated and resolved a wide variety of problems and conditions, from injuries such as sprains and strains, acute and chronic injuries involving the spine and/or extremities, headaches and migraines, osteoarthritis prevention, to more complex issues such as whiplash associated disorder, low back pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, postural issues, sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Katherine’s passion for physical medicine, health and fitness is evident as she takes a vested interest in helping clients reach their personal goals; all while learning and having fun. With her drive for continuing education, specialized training and extensive clinical experience, she is able to design and implement cutting-edge therapeutic and performance-based exercise programs that deliver outstanding results, safely and effectively.
Katherine’s extensive knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy and exercise physiology allows her to seamlessly implement manual therapy, training and rehabilitation programs to improve functional ability, core stability, strength, power, and endurance. Tanya Doerr

Tanya has extensive experience in the area of youth sport and has enjoyed coaching young gymnasts and competitive cheerleaders from the recreational up to the National level for many years. She believes that sport and physical activity should be character-building environments that facilitate important life lessons about the true meaning of team work, dedication and determination. She has won several National competitive cheerleading titles, both as an athlete and a coach, as well as a gold medal competing with Team Canada at the 2011 World Cheerleading Championships. She knows what it takes to succeed, and she knows how to motivate others to reach their goals.
Building on her coaching and athletic experience, Tanya completed a double major in Physical & Health Education and Biology at Queen’s University. She has a keen eye for the biomechanics of movement, further refined by the completion of her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Toronto.
As a physiotherapist, she loves breaking down movement patterns to discover the source of dysfunctions, employing a combination of manual therapy techniques and targeted exercise to help her clients meet their rehabilitation and performance goals. She enjoys treating athletes of all levels from a variety of sports as well as weekend warriors, office workers and individuals simply looking to become more physically active.

Joanne is a Physiotherapy Advisor with Primal Human Performance.
Joanne is a graduate of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta. She has both a Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. In addition to her university training, Joanne is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. She is also certified as an acupuncture provider with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.
Among her clientele are high-level amateur athletes, professional athletes, and recreational sport enthusiasts. She has extensive experience in private practice, geriatrics, and community-based physiotherapy. She is recognized for combining strong manual therapy, corrective exercise prescription, and comprehensive patient education in order to maximize function, performance, and health promotion.
