As a complement to her manual therapy skills, Katherine is an experienced Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-USA) and a Level 1 National Coaching Certificate holder.  She has extensive experience working with a wide array of individuals from recreational to professional athletes and as an athlete and fitness competitor herself, with the Ontario Physique Association (OPA) and the International Drug Free Association (IDFA), Katherine understands the cyclical challenges and triumphs of training, competition, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

Katherine always takes an integrated functional approach when working with her clients.  She incorporates advanced neuromuskuloskeletal assessments with traditional orthopaedic testing in order to diagnose and treat not only the area of complaint, but the root cause of the problem.  She has treated and resolved a wide variety of problems and conditions, from injuries such as sprains and strains, acute and chronic injuries involving the spine and/or extremities, headaches and migraines, osteoarthritis prevention, to more complex issues such as whiplash associated disorder, low back pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, postural issues, sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Katherine’s passion for physical medicine, health and fitness is evident as she takes a vested interest in helping clients reach their personal goals; all while learning and having fun.  With her drive for continuing education, specialized training and extensive clinical experience, she is able to design and implement cutting-edge therapeutic and performance-based exercise programs that deliver outstanding results, safely and effectively.

Katherine’s extensive knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy and exercise physiology allows her to seamlessly implement manual therapy, training and rehabilitation programs to improve functional ability, core stability, strength, power, and endurance.  Her significant clinical experience, boundless passion and unyielding commitment to her clients, uniquely distinguish Katherine as a leader in today’s health and fitness industry.
